NetRadio Network was the world’s first internet only radio network. We started at the beginning of the internet frenzy in 1994. Within 3 years we had grown to about 125 radio stations with more than 50,000,000 Unique IP’s tuning in yielding 250,000,000+ listens per month. No one else has done much more than half that since.
I’m Scot Combs, a founder of NetRadio. It was my idea to create a network of networks; providing a radio experience never possible before. All these years later, I’m still a huge music fan and want to explore the nooks and crannies too often ignored by terrestrial radio programmers.
Tony Verkinnes (our very first NetRadio hire) and I brought our terrestrial radio series to the internet called This is True, Really News. For a time it was the most listened to feature on the NetRadio Network. We’ve revived the program and can now be heard on just about any place you get your podcasts (even in Europe!). You can visit the This is True, Really News Channel at YouTube or listen to audio only episodes below.
This is NetRadio.Network.
