I’m Scot Combs, one of the founders of the original NetRadio Network. I’ve spent more than 50 years in the media business — more than 20 of them doing some kind of broadcast work. I’m a voiceover talent (locally, nationally, and internationally), audio & video producer, and a professional guitarist.
Music is one of my great passions. I love finding new music that moves me. I love sharing that with my friends.
I also love being silly with my radio partner, Tony Verkinnes and sharing that with anyone who can stomach it. Look for This is True, Really News on YouTube.
I’ve revived the old name and logo but not the original url in part because there’s someone squatting on NetRadio.net with a price tag of $8000 (yes, I asked). The price has actually come down — just a few years ago the published price was $250,000. But that isn’t the main reason.
Thanks to the proliferation of top level domains I can have the url I always wanted. In 1994 I wondered out loud why top level domains were limited to three characters as I would prefer the company’s url read “NetRadio.Network”.
Now it does.
